I too had problems using a Lacie drive (500 GB) once I loaded windows
seven. My drive was older (3 yrs)so I just figured it was too old.
Win 7 would sometimes detect it then lose connection then when I would
reboot it wouldn't be found etc. I had a 250 that's as old or older the
the Lacie and it works just fine. Never did figure it out.
