What "original 2003 CD" are you referring to (e.g., a CD that came with your
WinXP computer; a NIS 2003 CD)?
If the Vista computer came with a trial version of any Norton application
installed, you will have to (1) uninstall it and (2) download & run the
Norton Removal Tool before installing any other anti-virus application or
security suite (including a Norton application).
