I am looking at that particular hardware sitting on top of my monitor. It
works quite well.
Vista 32 and 64 should recognize and install this hardware without the
installation disc.
If your computer is not recognizing and installing the Lifecam when it is
plugged in there is something wrong with the unit or your computer.
The Microsoft software is useless anyway, no surprise there.
Presumably you are going to use Skype or something of its sort, and that
software will allow you to test the Lifecam, take snapshots or do what you
like.
