Norton Security Center is a very good product, but they have done (at
least) one very stupid hitng.
There is a feature called Norton Product Tamper Protection. It prevents
- well, you can guess...
Unfortunately, at least when I last tried to do a System Restore, it
protects Norton against System Restore.
Turn it off in Norton's system pane (it's under Computer - Settings -
Miscellaneous), do a system Restore, and then turn it back on.
