Well instead of uninstalling it, try making sure that the Live Communications Platform is
installed. You can just download and run the following to install it:
http://messenger.jonathankay.com/red...c/contacts.asp
If it says it's already installed, then that's not the problem. You can then use
ZapMessenger to force Messenger to uninstall:
http://messenger.jonathankay.com/redir/zapmessenger.asp
and then reinstall the current release version of Messenger by downloading and running the
following:
http://messenger.jonathankay.com/redir/wlm85.asp
