First, uninstall KB925672 from Add/Remove Programs if it is listed.
It will be under Windows XP - Software Updates towards the bottom
Reboot the system after uninstalling it.
Is MSXM4 4.0 SP2 (KB927978) listed ? It will be listed by itself and NOT
under Win XP- Software updates. IF it's listed, uninstall it at the SAME
time you uninstall KB925672, and then restart the system.
KB927978 supersedes KB925672, so install that *only*
Restart the system.
Did that resolve the issue ?
