Greetings Joke,
It's probably displaying the window off screen, say if you had some Messenger conversation
windows up before the screen changed resolution for a game or similar.
To bring it back into focus, hover over the window on the taskbar as you normally would, then
right-click the window preview/thumbnail and choose Move. Now press the arrow keys on the
keyboard to bring the window back into the visible focus. Note that once you press one of
the arrow keys once, you can then move the mouse around to more quickly locate it.
