Hi Peter.R --
When I sign into WLMessenger and see that I have Mail indicated at the mail
icon, I press it and it takes me to WLMail even though the mail is not there
it seems to be in WLHotmail with no way to get to WLHotmail from there. (I
have never had an Hotmail or Outlook Express account and don't want either.)
I tried your suggestion below of not signing into WLMail first, but the same
situation happened. My recent move to VISTA has been confusing because some
of my
emails go to WLMail and some go to WLHotmail
seemingly arbitrarily.
How can I get rid of WLHotmail? Windows Mail (for Old OE) so that all my
Live.com emails go to WLMail??????
AND< from WLMessenger envelope icon, I get WLMail with ALL my emails in one
spot?
Thanks, RuthF.

I tried editing my Windows Live Mail configuration to remove my msn.com email account, but the program still gets launched when I click the e-mail button in Messenger. (I still want to use Windows Live Mail for its other features - RSS feeds & newsgroups, mainly).
