RE: Contact's display picture completely missing

Mine is doing the same thing since i upgraded to the final version of
8.1.....maybe they just took that off to where u cant see the icons on the
buddy list... idk...

Well i can see the icons when we are chatting but on the actual buddy list
next to there names it doesn't show their avatars like it did on the other
versions. I dont know if thats whats happening to Zack who first posted
about this or not but thats whats happening to me.

Hi,

And you have the feature turned on right? To check, open the main contact list, click the
Sort your contacts button (the green arrows, on the right-side of the Find a contact or
number field), and make sure Show contacts' details is selected.

Ok yes that fixed it but is there any way to make the icons next to the
persons name not so big? Like before u could pick the size of the icons.

Nope, that feature got cut in 8.0 I'm afraid. It was in the Mess patch, but has been removed
and isn't in the patch for 8.1 sadly.

I have the same problem as the author to this post....

I cant see contact pictures in my message window at all...
i have checked and tried what has been posted but it doesnt work

Router firmware and WLM have been updated and that didnt work either
