| Hello,
| I am new to WSUS , so may be this is a simple questions.
|
| I have declined some updates, so to remove these declined updates I did the
| following
| 1-Run WSUSDebugTool/ toolurgeunneededFiles
| 2-Stop the WSUS administration site
| 3-Run Wsusutil deleteunneededrevisions
| 3-Start the WSUS administration site
| 4-Run Wsustil reset.
| However, from the adminstration console of WSUS , from updates, using
| declined in filter updates, I can still view a list of all declined updates.
|
| Running all the previous steps was fine with no problems.
|
| Best Regards

Yep... this is normal behavior.

[1] removes the /content/
[2] and [3(sic)] are unnecessary to run [3] (deleteunneededrevisions) --
which only clears out /expired/ revisions from the database
[4] is totally unnecessary unless you think you've just deleted something
that wasn't declined.
