Greetings Don,

You can't directly with Messenger, but you can with some third party help. For example:
http://www.r2.com.au/software.php?pa...how=startdelay
should do the trick.

Just install, run, choose Msnmsgr in the list of startup applications and then choose the
Edit button in the toolbar. Set the delay to whatever you want and then hit Save. Finally
choose the Actions menu, then Activate Startup Delayer, and then choose Use the Hidden
Version.

Then you can just close Startup Delayer and that should do it.

Hi,

Oh, one other thing. Once everything is setup, open up any Messenger window, press the Alt
key on the keyboard to bring up the menu bar, choose the Tools menu, then Options, then Sign
In (or General, in a previous version) category, then uncheck the 'Automatically run Windows
Live Messenger with Windows', and click OK.
