This is unlikely to have anything to do with WLMail. However,
you might have a hardware problem (such as a sticking delete key
or a bad contact on your keyboard). Alternatively, you might
need to adjust the keyboard settings in Win XP.
I recommend you perform a few tests which hopefully, will
establish whether this is a simple hardware issue. Probably, the
best test is to turn off your computer, connect a different
keyboard and re-boot. If that solves the problem, look no
further.
If the problem persists with a different keyboard, place your
cursor in the middle of a word processing document - and press
the delete key once. Does it delete one, two, or more
characters? If it deletes multiple characters, you might need to
adjust your keyboard settings in Win XP.
Open Control Panel and click on Keyboard, to display various
adjustment options. It might help, if you reduce the character
repeat rate and/or increase the repeat delay.
Alternatively, you might have enabled some of the accessibility
functions of Win XP. You can click on Control Panel
/Accessibility Options to enable, disable or adjust these
functions. There is a detailed fact sheet at
http://download.microsoft.com/downlo.../WindowsXP.doc .
could cause these symtoms.Does the delete key , perhaps.
