As a matter of suggestion to others to get this to work..
Turn off Nortons (Internet Security) for the update to install
BE PATIENCE...this Update requires a connection to a server be made..the
server may be busy at the time of You doing this (wait two minutes if it
seems to hang)
Download this to Your Computer and do it only after closing ANY other
running program.
This did work for me and it did hang while connecting to the WGA server.
I hope that others are helped by this !!

others....I haven't tested it to see if it will work for you all...

Here is the direct link to the WGA Update. It will work with WinXPSP2
english version. But since I did not have the problem, I can't test it.
