Hi Again and Happy New Year : I am having a problem with getting re-directed
to sites with advertising that are becoming a real "rage' to me...the one in
particular is midADdle and ads.234 and ads. 345...I can't find them when I
am serching my add/remove programs or any where else..can you help me to get
rid of them? thanking you in advance...rags

Hi - this is a Windows Update group - not the best place for your question.
Microsoft.public.security would be a good place to post questions like this.

That said, you have a spyware/malware problem.

Dealing with Unwanted Malware, Parasites, Toolbars and Search Engines:
http://mvps.org/winhelp2002/unwanted.htm

First & easiest things are to download the latest versions of AdAware and
Spybot - install them, update them, and run scans.

MS Just came out with a spyware beta that would be interesting to see what
the outcome would be.

esHi : I went into the Microsoft download area and downloaded its new beta 1
spyware removal program and I am very happy with it so far..I also have
spybot and it did remove a lot but could not remove "midaddle"...it still
keeps trying to download itself but the beta 1 catches it and removes
it..thanks again for all your help...rags
