RE: Display Pictures are missing after forced to 8.1

I was forced as well to change to Windows Live Messenger... I lost my display
pictures as well as all my custom emotions!!! What kind of improvement is
that?? and when exactly will it be fixed?? i had pictures on there that i no
longer have on my computer!! I am one UNHAPPY customer!

I'm really sorry that you're having problems with custom emoticons and
display pictures. Could you please send e-mail to
with the subject "Content issues after upgrade to 8.1" We'd like to get some
more information from you.

I emailed you at that hotmail address yesterday, as requested. I'll be
looking forward to hearing back from you guys.

I should add to my original post that in addition to the display pictures
problem, I'm having the same issues with the custom emoticons that I've read
others mention. Some custom emoticons are missing, but not all. And when a
friend sends me back a missing one for me to reinstall, 8.1 claims that code
is already in use, even though I cannot send the emoticon back out nor view
it under the "custom emoticons" window.
