Is this an AD domain? If so, and if this is one domain, then no, you wouldn't configure forwarding from one site to another. That would create a forwarding loop. Recommendation is to configure the to point to themselves, then to a partner, either local or at the other site.
Configure a forwarder to the ISP's DNS on each server individually.
