Greetings,

Just open the main contact list window, press Alt-C to open the Contacts menu, and then
choose Import instant messaging contacts.

Thank you Jonathon! Maybe i can ask you another question -- How do I set it
up so that I can always see the menu? Right now, only when I hit Alt+C, can
I see the menu items at the top of the application. It goes away once I move
my mouse, but I don't see any settings for changing this (and I have no idea
why it would be set up this way by default -- crazy). Thank you!!!

On the top right of the window, you should have the close,
maximise/restore and minimise buttons, next to all three of those tehre
is a box with a down arrow in it, click on that and click "Show the Menu
bar".
