Delete the "Trial RSG" (Recovery Storage Group) and then try the backup
again.

That's right. The RSG also needs to be deleted because if you create new
users using the Add User Wizard while an RSG exists, the new user's mailbox
will be created in the RSG store and not the 'First Storage Group'. The RSG
is just used for mailbox/store recovery and then should be deleted.

How to remove Recovery Storage Group

Yes, re-run the SBS Backup Wizard, then run another backup to see if it's
fixed.

If not, edit the Small Business Backup Script.bks to remove any reference to
the RSG. You can do this by firing up NTBackup.exe, then loading the Small
Business Backup Script.bks and then saving it. I found the following in
another post about the "Script.bks" error...

---------------------------------------
1. Start -> Run -> NTBackup -> Advanced Mode -> Backup tab -> Job -> Load
Selections.
2. Select Small Business Backup Script.bks
3. Click OK on the error message:
Some invalid selections found in C:\Program Files\Microsoft Windows
Small
Business Server\Backup\Small Business Backup Script.bks.
4. Job -> Save Selections (overwrite --> Small Business Backup Script.bks)
---------------------------------------

Another way to edit may be to locate Small Business Backup Script.bks in
Windows Explorer, rt. click, open with Notepad (uncheck "always use this
program"), delete any reference to the RSG, and then save the file.
