Why don't you take this to the help section of the manufacturers web pages
or give them a call. This has nothing to do with Vista and has everything to do with Dragon Naturally Speaking ver 10. You will likely get the help you are seeking there. http://www.nuance.com/naturallyspeak...rt/default.asp -- Richard Urban Microsoft MVP Windows Desktop Experience "Mark Conrad" <none-> wrote in message news:241120080647058006%none-... > > Trying to find out if there is a "bug" in > Dragon NaturallySpeaking version 10, or if it is > something haywire with my setup here. > > I run the full medical version on Vista Ultimate. > > The trouble happens whenever I use the "NewLine" > command to start a new line. > > Below is a sample of the problem: > > Now is the > Time for all > Good men to > Come to the > Aid of their > Country. > > > Notice above that the first word in each line is > capitalized, requiring me to waste time correcting > all those unwanted capitalizations. > > Happens no matter what I am dictating into, Notepad, > Wordpad, etc. > > > Happening to anyone else? Perhaps if you had paid attention at school, you might not be in the situation where you ask meaningless questions which have simple answers. Your school report: Must do better! The thread to which you Andy repetitively refer shows Mark Conrad saying "I do not use speech recognition to write these posts". Also, the idea that speech recognition misspells words is misguided. Speech recognition chooses from a list of words, therefore it cannot misspell words. >> I knew I should have kept my eyes on you to keep you >> out of trouble. > > I must inform the Ladies and Gentlemen out there what I think you > mean in your comment above: - > > This man together with a another man (called Grantx) tried to > convince me to buy DNS software in this very same Microsoft forum > even though I already had WSR on my Vista Operating System and > they both failed miserably. > > It was shortly after that I found out they were both DNS agents > and trying to persuade innocent people If you are innocent, Andy, why are you maliciously attacking another USENET author? > I must also point out, I am not (as Mark Conrad implies in other > posts in other threads of his within this particular newsgroup) a > troll and I categorically deny this nor am I an employee of > Microsoft. Just realized, I could make a play on his name which > would be aptly suitable as "Mark Conman". :-) Coincidentally, Andy, someone you are rubbing up against and repeatedly mentioning lately (Marty Markoe) is a ConMan. Many of us have a lot of experience with Marty. http://www.knowbrainer.com/ "After tracing this members profile we are embarrassed to find out that we now know that Mike Tavia is another one of approximately 20 KnowBrainer forum aliases for Martin Markoe of emicrophones who was banned from this forum for personal attacks. We are not certain why Martin has felt the need to resort to these types of tactics but his recent behavior has become an embarrassment for the speech recognition community." > I have however, posted some comments around the relevant threads > within this Microsoft NG correcting some untruths that this man > has been posting regarding WSR ( Windows Speech Recognition) > verses DNS (Dragon Naturally Speaking) speech recognition software > and trying to convince unsuspecting novices or new users like I > was to part with their money and invest in the ridiculously > overpriced DNS speech recognition software. I am puzzled why Andy spends much time maliciously attacking another author. Andy's posting history suggests he really is disabled, but his most recent posts suggest he is just another sock puppet of the nym-shifting malicious spammer Marty Martin Markoe who has no other life on USENET aside from posting links to his commercial website. > who stumbled across the speech recognition program within Windows Vista > and who tried it and found it a Godsend and free within the Windows Vista > OS. > > > > Attachment decoded: untitled-2.txt > ------=_NextPart_000_0022_01C98E8B.10D20F10 > Content-Type: image/gif; name="QMARK.GIF" > Content-Transfer-Encoding: base64 > Content-ID: <93499EF0454C49268A2C7CBFC3554DB4 austral> > > > Attachment decoded: QMARK.GIF > ------=_NextPart_000_0022_01C98E8B.10D20F10 > Content-Type: image/gif; name="ARROW.GIF" > Content-Transfer-Encoding: base64 > Content-ID: <510625EE5C82457B9FAF9EB9F56D57F3 austral> > > > Attachment decoded: ARROW.GIF > ------=_NextPart_000_0022_01C98E8B.10D20F10-- > > From: "andy t" <andy57nospam live.co.uk> > References: <241120080647058006%none-of your-business.invalid> <esDOqvkTJHA.4324 TK2MSFTNGP04.phx.gbl> <241120081356416139%none-of your-business.invalid> <#1HwLp6iJHA.3656 TK2MSFTNGP03.phx.gbl> <110220090054496692%none-of your-business.invalid> > In-Reply-To: <110220090054496692%none-of your-business.invalid> > Subject: Re: Dragon NaturallySpeaking version10 problem > Date: Sat, 14 Feb 2009 10:00:24 -0000 > Lines: 1 > MIME-Version: 1.0 > Content-Type: multipart/related; type="text/plain"; boundary="----=_NextPart_000_0022_01C98E8B.10D20F10" > X-Priority: 3 > X-MSMail-Priority: Normal > Importance: Normal > X-Newsreader: Microsoft Windows Live Mail 14.0.8050.1202 > X-MimeOLE: Produced By Microsoft MimeOLE V14.0.8050.1202 > Message-ID: <uocRisojJHA.4880 TK2MSFTNGP02.phx.gbl> > Newsgroups: microsoft.public.windows.vista.general > NNTP-Posting-Host: 79-77-143-63.dynamic.dsl.as9105.com 79.77.143.63 > Path: nlpi102-int.nbdc.sbc.com!nlpi062.nbdc.sbc.com!prodigy.com! nlpi057.nbdc.sbc.com!prodigy.net!news.glorb.com!ne wsfeed00.sul.t-online.de!t-online.de!TK2MSFTFEEDS02.phx.gbl!TK2MSFTNGP01.phx. gbl!TK2MSFTNGP02.phx.gbl > Xref: prodigy.net microsoft.public.windows.vista.general:353786 > X-Received-Date: Sat, 14 Feb 2009 05:03:28 EST (nlpi102-int.nbdc.sbc.com) > |

Here here Richard!
Lots of other people have told him to go into a DNS forum for his answers on their product but he keeps posting the same old repetitive claptrap in here. It's like a broken record. You will have to forgive him, he probably thinks he is in a DNS forum in his world but he lost most of his marbles years ago and now has an IQ of 2 so in all fairness, leave him be because it looks like the dementia is here to stay. If these are lies, then I would remind the good people out to judge for themselves. If you just type in a thread called "speech recognition and email probs!!!" There you will see the pair of them try to persuade me to convert from WSR (Windows Speech Recognition) to DNS (Dragon Naturally Speaking) in may I add a Microsoft forum when I was a relatively new user. They both failed miserably and I am so glad I did not fall for their double act ploy because I eventually decided to persevere with WSR and save hundreds of pounds. I also expose Conrad or "Conman" as he is known that his DNS Medical is flawed, cannot spell properly or differentiate in defining between two similar words such as "poo-poo" or "pooh-pooh" in spite of it costing $1600 or £800.00 If you type in "Mark Conrad" on its own even you will see he is the biggest troll in this forum and tries the same old tricks and example tests in his posts (which is nothing more than glorified spam) to snare any unsuspecting new user thinking of trying out speech recognition, to purchase he's very expensive DNS software. I have posted elsewhere in this forum to try and warn any new users to be very wary of this con man because of the way he operates. This man is full of poo-poo (and that IS the right spelling of of poo-poo in regard to its definition). > You have your head so far your ass > that you are wearing your gonads as a necklace.
