I don't believe you can do this. You'd need some kind of USB hub with a
switch to move the device from one input to the other as it could never be
connected to both simultaneously. I have never seen such a device.

Not sure if it will work. I do know they make a cable like you describ
though. I have seen them at radio shack. I believe they are used t
transfer documents from one PC to another

I would tend to doubt it. The PC almost surely does not expose the same
read/write type of surface that a USB flash drive device does. There may be
such a cable/device/software combo out there but I have never seen anything
like it.
