RE: Epson Stylus Photo R300 (RC1)

Hi James,

I have just installed Vista RC1 and tried to print a photo and got the same
message as you i have been trying alsorts and in a test i have fixed this
problem, all you need is to do is the following;

1; put the Epson R300 install cd in drive
2; open Control Panel
3; open Printers
4; open Epson R300 Properties
5; goto the Advanced Tab
6; click on New Driver
7; click next then Have Disk...
8; click Browse
9; change the look in to your cd rom and follow these folders
open English, open WINXP_2K, Then open file E_DF18FE, then choose R300 next
then finish,
mine took a little while to install the driver but once done i re opened the
photo and it printed without any problems, ) i hope this works for you too
