RE: error 0x80070643

I am trying to install .net framework 1.1 from the microsoft web site and I
get a failed to install error. I reveiwed the message from microsoft on what
to check. I did all of that but still no install. HELP anyone that may have
had this problem. I am stuck, I was able to install this onto other computer
without any problems. I have McAfee and have no viruses. ?????????

Try disabling your AV for the install.

from the Windows Update Web site
and/or

You cannot install some updates or programs

Other updates load and install without any problem. I tried to disable AV and
still didi not install. My guess some file must be corrupt; direct x, window
installer, who knows what else.
