After trying every single suggestion found on this site, including some not
found, like turn offI the "block pop-up" option and Norton's Firewall and
Web Security, I simply TURNED OFF my proxy server (firewall Hardware -
Instagate EX-2) thinking that perhaps as it has happened befor Windows Update
was trying to do something in the back of its execution. So, with
proxi/firewall down, retried and Success!. Biengo! Eureka! Jack-pot!
