Hi all, i sorted this by doin this....
First try...
To verify that BITS is correctly configured and then start BITS, follow
these steps:
Click Start, click Run, type services.msc, and then click OK.
Double-click Background Intelligent Transfer Service.
In the Startup type box, click Manual, and then click Apply.
Click the Log On tab, and then verify that the service is enabled in every
hardware profile that is listed. If the service is disabled in one or more
hardware profiles, click the hardware profile, click Enable, and then click
Apply.
Click the General tab, and then click Start.
If doesnt work ... i did this
Click Start, click/type Run, type services.msc, and then click OK.
Right-click Remote Procedure Call (RPC), and then click Start
Click Start, click Run, type services.msc, and then click OK.
If one or more of the following services are not running, right-click the
service, and then click Start:
1. Com+ Event System
2. System Event Notification
3. Windows Management Instrumentation Driver Extensions
Right-click Background Intelligent Transfer Service, and then click Start.
Hope this helps!
