Aloha! I found a solution to the "0x80072F78" problem I was having.
I went to the Windows Update Troubleshooter at
http://v4.windowsupdate.microsoft.com/troubleshoot/
I found "Problem reaching Windows Update"
Then "While the Windows Update Web site is loading, you receive
'Initialization error 0x80072F78'"
There is, "Problem Description"
Then, "Resolutions"
There I found: Suggestion 1 -- It does not apply to me.
Suggestion 2 -- It did nothing for me.
Suggestion 3 -- It seemed to do nothing for me but I
did not revert.
Suggestion 4 -- Now, that returned the Update faculty
to my
computer.
Success, at last! I have spent hours on this problem with any number
of people attempting to help me. As is usual with computers (I guess), it is
a step by step search with trial and error before one reaches his goal. Good
luck to you all.
A hui hou.
