This error means

ERROR_NO_LOG_SPACE
System could not allocate the required space in a registry log.

Please try and free up some space on the drive where the Operating System is
install and then try Windows Update again.

One thing that worked for me was the following.

Navigate to C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution

Empty both the DataStore and Download folder of it contents.
