This is self explanatory. You're missing the necessary Report Viewer
prerequisite. This is not a fatal error, however; as the Report Viewer can
be installed after installation of WSUS is completed. It's only needed to
display reports, and if you're not interested in displaying reports, it's
not even required that the RV be installed at all.

Looks like you have SQL Server 2000 installed (WMSDE, I'll assume), but not
SQL Server 2005. Not a problem, the WSUS v3 installer will install the
Windows Internal Database and migrate the WSUS v2 database. You'll need to
uninstall the WMSDE after the upgrade completes.

So.. you're upgrading from WSUS v2, eh? Whole bunch of opportunities for
snafus here. :-)

A Domain Controller, eh?

This is merely noting that you have the Report Viewer 2005 installed, and
WSUS3SP2 requires the Report Viewer 2008.
(Specifically you should be sure to download Report Viewer 2008 SP1.)

This could indicate a failure of the installation account to be able to
access the installed instance of WMSDE. I've seen this in one other thread
this past week, but that issue is still unresolved. The pending question in
that thread, and the appropriate one here, and even moreso since you're
upgrading from WSUS v2 is this:
Have you READ the Release Notes (twice!) and confirmed, verified, and
established absolutely that *none* of the issues documented in those Release
Notes could possibly, even remotely, affect this machine?
In any event, this is the core failure of the upgrade process.

Essentially, the uninstall (of WSUS v2) failed because the database could
not be accessed.
