85010014 is a server error, you can get this error is sever ways,

When connecting to desktop outlook:

A) Your outlook is in cached mode and you connect you PC and try to sync
with outlook (Outlook needs to connect to the server on the firs sync.

B) Synchronization fails because Application Data Folder is redirected

C) Synchronization fails because of Outlook script blocking

D) Synchronization fails because Activesync is incorrectly registered with
Outlook

When you connect your PPC to your desktop are you able to open a web page on
the device? (This will tell me if DTPT is working as it will use the network
connection of the PC to connect to the exchange server directly)

Can you send me a screen shot or Activesync when yo are attempting to sync?

When you are syncing with the Exchange server:

A) You are attempting to connect to the Exchange server and the server is
not setup correctly.

Since you attempt to connect to the Exchange server directly with WLAN and
GPRS I am leaning toward and exchange server issue as being the cause of the
issue

Since this is an exchange server error you will need to contact your network
admin so they can investigate the exchange error (check event logs...etc)

Dear Robert, I've seen this forum and your reply to most of the 85010014
questions, however you've been asking the same question to all the users.

I've been facing the same issue, and I was expecting someone from Microsoft
to find a solution, however this forum has resulted in no solutions.

The problem is not syncronising WindowsPC (outlook) with PPC. This has been
resolved by the solution suggessted by RiJo (please see his message on
12/7/05. Thanks for that). However the issue is for PPC to syncronise with
the Exchange server 2003 using any connection: USB, GPRS, WLAN, etc. I
syncronise my Laptop Outlook 2003 with Exchange server from outside the LAN
using any internet connection. But the PPC does not syncronise.

Please someone from Microsoft suggest a solution.
