re: fault with new windows graphic update

Hi,
Since I installed this new windows graphic update the computer switches
itself off and has hardware issues at any time I am playing any type of game
which has good graphics. Since using system restore and deleting the update
I have not had any more problems. Has anyone else had problems with this
hurried version of the graphics update.

Hi Chris,I had a fault after the insullation of this Graphic Update - after
reboot my computer was hanging,i put my computer to sleep mode , and
reactived it so i was then able to use the mouse to use the system restore,
it seem to be running o.k now, james

Yes, I have. I installed the XP SP2 fix and upon a reboot I discovered
that Windows
couldn't load my profile. A system restore to earlier this morning seems to
have fixed that problem. I'll be reading related articles in this NG to
catch up.
