RE: The following update were not installed KB923689

Kaylene came up with a fix in a different post...Try the following:
Hi Kaylene,
Your last suggestion did the trick I think. Clear out
C:\windows\softwaredistribution\download and then re-boot. After rebooting I
tried to Express install again and had the same failure but when I selected
Custom and then picked the security patches...the download worked perfectly.
I also noticed that the files are 0kb in size when choosing the Express
install vs. 515kb and 2.30Mb when using the Custom download option. Maybe the
express file targets are corrupt.
