Not quite. The "Thursday 1:00am" event is the Installation event.
The Download occurs immediately after the detection if approved updates have
been identified.

That's definitely a problem! As is the problem that occurs when the Thursday
morning installation *fails*, or the machine is powered off accidentally on
Wednesday night.

1. The recommended procedure is to use *daily* installation events.
Once-per-week events are good for servers that have a scheduled maintenance
window.
2. Even with once-per-week events, you can set a deadline on the update, and
the update will be installed at, or immediately after, that deadline time --
with no regard for any other configuration settings.
