This is my problem too, and much more people. I checked Freecom forums (U.K.
& Spain) and this issue is happening from last week of November. Since then
forums have a big amount of post telling about this problem.
As before this behaviour was casual I understand more than possibly it is
caused by some update.

Some people reported their FreeCom USB HD not working in a computer but
working in a friend's computer, unfortunely I cannot do this test at this
moment unless I reinstall Win XP in a computer wit not connection to Internet.

Could you?
