Pardon my noobness with WLM but why do 'Storage Folders Suck' and what does
your 'solution' for Local Folders do that the Storage Folders don't do?

Cheers

To store mail locally? Or what else it - please let me know...

And then that is what Local Folders do also is it not?

Be better if you were more helpful in your reply rather than just be
sarcastic...

It is not meant to be sarcastic. It is meant to be a hint that you might not
know the purpose of Storage Folder versus Local Folders. It is also meant to
counter your claim of " Storage Folders suck ".
If you leave your read e-mails/messages in the " local folders ", and you
deleted the account, accidentally or otherwise, all those read
e-mails/messages go with the deleted account.
If you leave them under Storage Folders, they are SAFE. They do not go with
the deleted account.
The morale of the episode is : don't make conclusive remarks unless you have
all the facts.

Ok, I think we are on the same page - I was NOT the one that said they SUCK,
I was merely asking why do they suck?

Surely if what your saying, i.e. the mail is retained with Storage Folders
and delted using the Local Folders method that uising the Storage Folders is
better???

Yes. Messages under Local Folder will get wiped out if the account is
deleted.
Messages under Storage Folder will remain even if the account is deleted.
