No, he's right. The Gates Foundation supplies the computers for all the
public internet in my city and funds local medical research and facilities
in local universities and hospitals, including longevity research and
nanotechnology. They do a lot. They also fund our public library and it's
new cataloguing.
I'm sure Google does something good, too.
