I think the implication was that you already know this is not a problem
with IE8, only with IE7.
IE8 was rolled out not just as an improvement (as such) but also
addressing bug fixes.
IE8 is now the "standard" and IE9 is already indevelopment. Whether IE9
will be back compatible to W2K and XP is yet to be seen.
IE6 is already a red-headed step child and many sites are starting to
abandon support for it. YouTube is an example.
So your solution is to "upgrade" to IE8. If that continues to be a
problem then it's likely your network.
There will be no bug fixes or improvements to IE7. That is a dead
product the same as all of its predecessors.
You may also want to consider that IE is not your only browser to
consider.
