[crosspost to Wal-Mail newsgroup]

You can't delete anything (other than newsgroup headers & messages you've
downloaded into Windows Live Mail). MS newsgroups retain NNTP posts for 90
days or more, after which they're removed from the server. Such posts are
retained on the web-based newsserver for a much longer period and probably
forever in Google Groups archive.
