What antivirus software do you use? What else have you used to scan
your host for malware? Blocking lists for a web browser aren't going to
work if your host is infected with malware.

Have you yet tried loading IE8 in its no add-ons mode?

That domain is hiding behind GoDaddy's private registration service.
IANA requires the domain registration to identify the owner/registrant
of that domain. Registrars take that responsibility by pointing at
themself (although typically all it takes is a legally worded registered
letter to get them to release the real registrant's information). So
GoDaddy is hiding who is the registrant of the optmd.com domain. Sites
hide for no good reason (they make claims but usually it's about spam
which they have very obvious means to filter out any e-mails to their
contact e-mails about their domain than from their own registrar).

An nslookup on cdn.optmd.com returns akamai as the owner but they are a
worldwide load-balancing and tracking web service used by many
companies, including Microsoft. Aliases to that same IP address are
caselmedia.com and edgesuite.net which are "online media services" (aka
advertising or marketing content).

Not all COM plug-ins may be listed. Run in no add-ons mode and retest.
If that doesn't help, reboot Windows into its safe mode (with networking
support) and retest.

Click the Start button , click All Programs, click Accessories, click System
Tools, and then click Internet Explorer (No Add-ons).
