A workaround I use is to export a cookie file, then when they disappear,
import it back.

Thanks!

Is it enough just to move folder or files from folder Cookies to any other
folder and then back?

Don't know, probably. In the file tab in the top left corner of IE, there's
an import/export button which makes it pretty easy.

Cool, thanks a lot for this tip. Hope IE team will fix this pretty annoying
issue soon.

Joe, I'm also having the same problem. Can't log in to Facebook, even though
cookie is allowed, Facebook.com is a trusted site - both Security & Privacy
settings set to Medium. Have Vista Home Premium v6.0 sp1 and IE8. The updates
mentioned were auto-installed when I bought my current laptop back in July.
As somebody mentioned before, where is the official response from MS?

SOMEBODY PSE HELP!

I have been plauged with this problem. With customers using IE6,7, and 8.
Tried to reset my home computer, IE8, and I can not get it to work. I have a
check login .php to verify the cookies exist. They do.
www.glsbrakes.com/GLS_Login/
test user php
test pw coders

www.glsbrakes.com/GLS_Login/check_login.php

Can MS fixs this? I can not ask ever customer to copy cookies. Funny....
Or should I just tell them to use FireFox or Safari. They both work fine.

I downloaded Fiddler2. Ran while I was logging in and came up with errors

Fiddler has detected a protocol violation in session #70.
No Connection: close, no Content-Length. No way to tell if the response is
complete.

Now the cookies are seen and working properly. I did not change anything in
my code, nor do I know what the Fiddler2 program means by the errors or what
it did to fix the problem. But now it is working on my computer. If my code
needs to be adjusted I would like to know what I should do?
