1. Open IE | Click on HELP | Click on ABOUT INTERNET EXPLORER | Is
v8.0.6001.18697 or v8.00.6001.18702 displayed here? If not, STOP and tell
me so; If it is, keep reading...
2. Now open Windows Explorer [WinKey+E] and navigate to C:\Program
Files\Internet Explorer <=this folder | In that folder, right-click on
IEXPLORE.EXE | select PROPERTIES | select VERSION tab | Copy the displayed
version here to your clipboard then paste it into a reply to this message.
