Install it again manually, with /verbose logging.
Look for clues in the log why it is not completing.
One user who did this found that another task was active
which could not be stopped and that is why it could not finish.
If that is your case too you might be able to prevent such extraneous
tasks from running by rebooting in safe mode and doing the reinstall then.
