Hi:

I am not sure what your goal is, and we are happy to help in any way possible.

There cannot be a domain without server class software, so there may be some
misunderstanding of what a domian is and why you would want one. This group
is for the support of Windows Small Business Server, which is indeed a domain/server
software that is very well suited to the needs of small businesses, but there
are others.

For example, if your company has 15 users or fewer, you can get the management
features of a domain controller at a very resonable price with Windows Server
Foundatation. If you don't anticpate going over 15 users for a year or two,
and you are happy with hosted exchange, this might be something you would
want to look at.

If you don't want the features of SBS, which includes an in house exchange
server among other good stuff, and you anticpate more than 15 users, then
you may need Windows Server Standard as your domain controller.
