The Windows XP disk is bootable. Set your BIOS to show the CD drive as the
first boot option. Stick the Windows XP Home Edition disk in the CD drive
and reboot. But first, Google for "clean install of windows XP". There are
numerous sites that will have plenty of information on how to do a clean
installation.
