Re- Install SP2

About a 6weeks ago I elected to allow automatic windows updates, soon after
had some minor probs (web Cam) and noticed that SP2 had been installed.
Noticed lots of negative comments and decided to cancel auto update and
remove SP2 by (stupidly) removing each individual file shown in the "Add &
Remove Programs" listing. Now I find when I check for updates that SP2 is not
included and is shown as "cancelled" in the update history.
Can someone recommend how to clean out the SP2 remnants from my system??
(Winver. shows Win ver 5.1 build 2600 xpsp 2.030422-1633 : Service Pack 1.)

If you went to Add/Remove Programs and uninstalled all the items with
"SP2" after, you removed many essential fixes that were installed
prior to SP-2.
