re-installing Windows Vista Home Premium

I am trying to re-install Vista Home Pemium on my computer. If I use the HP
PC System Recovery, it tells me ethat I have to be an administrator... I am
the administrator... and it is the only account on the computer. If i try to
use the disk, it says that I need to re-install it from within the system.

I need some help if someone can give that to me please.

Reinstallin from within the System means that vista must be running, then you
put the DVD in the DVD Drive, and take it from there.
I don't know what you have on disk!
