Fine, another one. You're on Windows 2000, right? If true, you may
try http://patch-info.de/IE/Downloads/Q867801-WUFix.zip for a q&d
fix. Download the file and extract the containing "Q867801-WUFix.reg".
Afterwards double click the REG file and let it merge into the
registry. Finally shut down all opened IE windows and see if WU/AU
still offers KB/Q867801.

I've informed the MSRC by mail about the issue I can confirm
Windows 2000 systems, depending on their update history.

Yup. MSRC forwarded the issue to (hopefully) the right people in
the meantime.
