*** There are no local accounts on a DC hence the option to logon locally is
not present.

I have since discovered that a DC does not show the local computer name as an
option when logging into it.

Also, (and I'll post this in the updates section too), I have since
discovered (using the GPO editor) that although all my policies for Windows
Updates in the default-domain-controller were all set to "Not Configured,"
when I changed the policy and set it to "Notify for download and install"
this caused all my DCs to have that option selected (and of course the
Windows Update page was greyed out but at least I had been able to change the
automatic setting on the problem DC).
