Re: Media-extender problems. Setup-errror with xbox 360

Do you have any non-Microsoft firewall/anti-virus/intrusion
detection/privacy software installed? If so, which software packages do you
have? This behavior is consistent with a firewall blocking some of the
network traffic the Extender functionality needs to function.

Also, please post a copy of your DvcConn.log file from c:\windows.

Setup should work fine with no TV card installed (some Media Center PCs ship
without TV cards). Are you saying that you installed a TV card and that
fixed your MCX connectivity issues?
