It supports HDTV.

No, there is no default blue-ray support.

Media Center itself will not support Blu-ray, but there is Software that will play blu-ray disks in Windows.

I have an nvidia 220 card and it works great with no problems for all hdtv
at 1080i or 720p. I also watch blu-ray movies @1080i (my TV will not accept
1080p) using Total Media Theater 3 software since it supports windows 7 and
has an integrated plug-in that just works great.

The latter, applications which run outside of MCE.

TMT3 will run both outside of and inside of MCE. The program will allow you
to set itself up as the default DVD/BluRay player within MCE. And all of
the MCE controls work with the program when playing movies inside of the MCE
ui.
