Hi bridie
I did a search for the 8.1 beta and ended up with one called
WindowsLiveMessenger81.exe which seems to be a hacked version - you need
to send an SMS message (costing £1.50) to get a code to install it! So I
deleted that and found the beta at the MS site. Unfortunately I still have
the same issues - I have a ticket out with MS to try and find a solution.
I did try to flush my cache, I feel a lot better for it but it hasn't
helped Messenger!
I'll keep trying :-)
