Just thinking logically, I would not expect to be able to
use the site until January 30, the official release date.

If you are talking about buying XP without a PC, several vendors have said
that all fields have to be filled in with info, such as serial number with
any number. If you bought the CD and are leaving any fields blank because
you don't feel they are applicable to you, put some data in them and see if
you get further

You should continue trying, moduslink is just doing a lousy job with the
upgrades, I completed the order process after several attempts back in Nov.

More than just lousy. They are charging, at least us in Canada, almost $30
for shipping and handling. Hmmmm.. cost me $13 and change Canadian to get
the beta disks from MS. Looks to me like they are charging MS to handle
distribution for them and double-dipping by over charging us for shipping.
